Fair Ministry
The 2025 GA National Fair (GNF) is history! Were you part of it? Time to prepare for the 2026 Harvest!
Over 3500 people heard the Gospel Story at the 2025 Georgia National Fair Wordless Book Tent Ministry, and 866 made professions of faith! As always, God worked in a mighty way to call people to Salvation. All we are called to do is be faithful to witness. It is our honor and blessing to tell the precious story of Jesus! Jesus is coming soon! Will 2025 be the last year to witness the Georgia National Fair? We do not know the time of His coming, but we know it is soon. We must not be faint or complacent in our efforts. Our team is now preparing for the 2026 fair. Early next year, we will begin to schedule trainings and work with local businesses to provide critical support. Would you be an integral part of this ministry by providing your time and voice? You can help to execute the Lord's command to spread His Gospel to the "ends of the earth." When Jesus returns, let us be found doing work for His Kingdom! Amen!
Meet My Fair Lady (Lynn Coonce)
How does the Fair Ministry Tent Work?
My Fair Lady is a nickname affectionately given to Mattie Lynn Coonce, a local Georgia missionary working with a team to share the Good News at the various fairgrounds in the United States.
The 2026 Georgia National Fair is October 8th-18th. Think of it as a mission trip to your own community! To effectively equip the Wordless Book Tent mission field each year, we need missionaries to man the storytelling stations. It normally looks like this:
Eight Storyteller Stations inside the tent, with three ministry mission periods per day, equals 24 missionaries needed per day. For the ten full days of the GNF, that means 240 missionaries are required! Of course, some missionaries may want to do multiple mission periods. That's great!
Out front, we also have people to invite mission field attendees (fair attendees) into the tent. We use two to three mission workers there for each mission period; another 40-60 missionaries are needed!
Those numbers include Spanish-speaking missionaries. We usually need three per day for a total of 30 missionaries for the fair duration. In addition, we use at least one worker out front to invite for each mission period, or about three per day. Usually, the weekends are the biggest need for Spanish workers. It’s hard to know when the best time is, so we must be ready all the time!
As you can see, the Wordless Book Tent Ministry is a huge production. The Fair Lady is simply the coordinator. For the mission to be successful, God wants to use people who are concerned for the lost of this world to share the Gospel. If you are looking for a way to follow Jesus and experience what it is like to be a missionary in the field, please sign up to work the Wordless Book Tent. The training is free; however, you need to contact me to set up the training. Check on this site for trainings already scheduled. Training is offered year-round except during the GNF mission period.
